Techniques for tattoo removal have been under investigation for many years. The choices available for tattoo removal can be confusing when you are considering which procedure is best for you. Currently tattoos and some permanent cosmetics can be removed by laser; surgical excision; Dermabrasion; cryosurgery, chemical extraction and salabrasion (the use of salt and saline).
Not all methods are right for all tattoos.
Many of these methods are expensive and painful, and will require 10 to 15 sessions for satisfactory results. Additionally, tattoo removal side effects can include hypo-pigmentation (unwanted lightening of the skin); surface textural changes or incomplete removal of certain tattoo colors. Additionally, some systems are not effective on all pigment colors or on tattoos that are over 5 years old.

Our non-laser tattoo removal system is designed to safely and affordably remove unwanted tattoos and permanent cosmetics with minimal discomfort and side effects. We have a variety of salabrasion and chemical extraction processes available to lighten or remove unwanted tattoos and permanent cosmetics on the face, hands, neck and body. The application of our tattoo removal systems is a "tattoo over" process that uses a traditional tattoo machine to retrace the tattoo using remover instead of pigment. Discomfort is managed by the application of numbing topicals applied during the pigment removal process. The entire process is completed in four simple steps in an hour to an hour and a half appointment.
The Nouveau Clinic is the only clinic in Atlanta that has over 10 years of experience safely removing unwanted tattoos with a variety of effective non-Laser tattoo removal systems. Our removal process is customized to meet the individual needs of our clients. A consultation and patch test are required prior to any removal service to help us determine the appropriate remover for your skin, based on your skin type; ethnic heritage, age of tattoo, location of tattoo and type of tattoo artistry.
Non-Laser tattoo removal services are ideal for individuals with complexions that are fair to medium olive. They are not recommended for individuals with dark olive or deeper-toned complexions due to possible over-lightening of the skin from the tattoo removal process.

New client service appointments and consultations will require a credit card at the time of scheduling to reserve your appointment. We regret that we cannot schedule new client appointments without a credit card unless the service is prepaid. Your card will not be processed for the procedure prior to your appointment.
Our Cancellation Policy
We require a 48 hour notice to cancel or reschedule all new client appointments to avoid a broken appointment fee of $100. Permanent Cosmetics and Cosmetic Services require a sterile set-up which is “specific” to the type of procedure you're having. This involves time and disposable materials which must be ordered and prepared in advance of your appointment. Due to the nature of our services, we are seldom able to rebook appointments that are canceled with less than a 48 hour notice. Our phones are answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
