What are Eyelash Extensions?
A Eyelash Extensions are single strands of synthetic or silk fibers that replicate your own eyelashes. They look and feel almost identical to a natural eyelash. Lash extensions are weightless and waterproof.

What can I expect during the lash extension procedure?
AThe technique involves applying and adhering the lash-extensions to individual eyelashes, one-by-one. Unlike false lash strips or eyelash clusters, eyelash extensions are applied directly to individual eyelashes, and not to the skin. This gives you the option to create a very customized lash line that does not clump and looks extremely natural.
Your professional Nouveau Lash Extensionist will prep your eyes by thoroughly cleansing your lashes, and securing the lash line with cooling gel pads. Our unique gel pads are designed to moisturize the delicate under-eye tissue and reduces the appearance of puffiness and dark circles. The actual process of lash application can take anywhere between 2 to 2.5 hours for a full set. Most clients use this time to relax – and some even fall asleep. Your eyes will remain closed and protected throughout the entire procedure.
The procedure itself is absolutely pain free, and will not pull out or damage your natural eyelashes in any way.
How long do eyelash extensions typically last?
A 2 months without a touch-up. A set will last indefinitely with regular monthly fill-ins.
Eyelash extensions are a great semi-permanent solution that offers instant gratification for longer, fuller, and darker lashes. Depending on the quality of post care maintenance, and your individual natural lash growth cycle, an initial set of eyelash extensions can last indefinitely. Lash fill-ins will be required monthly to maintain the fullness. (The lash fill-in cycle is similar to the maintenance required on acrylic nails).
We recommend every two to four weeks for best appearance. A fill-in appointment will replace eyelash extensions that are lost when your natural lashes shed and regrow. (Your own eyelashes replenish themselves every 60 – 90 days). Post care instructions and products designed to enhance or extend the life of your Eyelash Extensions, will be discussed with you at the time of your service.
What type of adhesive is used to apply the eyelashes?
A The lash bonding agent used by The Nouveau Clinic, is a medical grade adhesive that is created in an FDA approved lab. It is uniquely formulated with a waterproof bonding agent for maximum bonding strength. Our adhesive is fume free and feels weightless. It has been proven to be the safest and longest-lasting adhesive on the market today, and is well tolerated by most individuals.
Will Eyelash Extensions damage my own eyelashes?
A No. When Eyelash Extensions are properly applied by a licensed and certified Lash Extensionist, there is no build-up of adhesive, and the eyelashes will feel completely natural and weightless. Individual Eyelash Extensions should never be applied as “clusters” or replaced with over-the-counter “flares”. Proper attachment of the extensions is important for professional and long-lasting results.
Nouveau’s Eyelash Extensionist will determine the most compatible lashes for your desired enhancement. Each extension will be applied one-by-one to individual lashes. This technique prevents a build up of adhesive and ensures that the extension process does not stress the natural lashes. We use only the highest quality medical grade bonding agent, clinically formulated to prevent damage to the natural eyelashes. The adhesive is never applied directly to the skin.
What if I have sensitive skin... can I still wear extensions?
AIf you have experienced sensitivity to other adhesive products, your Nouveau Lash Extensionist can perform a simple skin patch test on the back of your hand prior to the procedure. This will determine if you have any sensitivities to our adhesive.
Can I wear mascara, eyeliner or eye makeup with Lash Extensions?
A Yes you can.
Your Eyelash Extensions will not require the use of mascara or eyeliner on a daily basis; however, when you want a more dramatic effect, it is important to use mascara that is formulated especially for use with Eyelash Extensions. Traditional mascaras and eye makeup removers can deteriorate the lash bonding agent, and could cause you to shed your extensions prematurely.
The Nouveau Clinic has lash bonders and extenders, mascaras, eyeliner, eye makeup removers and lash curlers designed to enhance and preserve your eyelash extensions.
Can I use a lash re-growth product like Latisse along with extensions?
A Absolutely.
Lash growth products can be applied after the bonding agent has set, within 24-hours of your procedure. Combining a lash re-growth product and extensions can be used to create a more voluminous, finished effect. Lash growth products also increase the life-cycle of your extensions.

A valid credit card is required to reserve all client appointments due to the amount of time required to design and complete the application of individual eyelashes. (Approximately 2 to 3 hours for a new set – 60 to 90 minutes for touch-ups).
Lash Appointment Etiquette
- Please arrive 15-20 minutes ahead of your scheduled appointment to complete your paper-work and to relax prior to your session.
- It is important that you arrive wearing no eye makeup, mascara or false eyelashes.
- If you wear contacts, please remove them prior to your appointment. You can re-insert the contacts once your procedure is completed.
- Please do not bring guests or small children with you to your appointment, as they will not be permitted in the treatment room while we are applying the lashes.
- You are welcome to bring an I-Pod with headphones
Gratuities
Gratuities are not included in the price of the service but at your discretion, are always appreciated by your technician.
Our Clinic Policies
Running Late...
- We have a 15 MINUTE Grace Period
- Running late? Please call us at (404)-936-6931 Ext 701 to let us know.
- If you are running 15-minutes late to your appointment, please understand that we will do our best to accommodate you; however, we may not be able to complete the entire service requested in the time remaining on your appointment. At the discretion of the Nouveau Lash Extensionist, we may need to reschedule you to complete the work. We appreciate your understanding.
More Than 15-Minutes Late...
Clients arriving later than 15-minutes for an initial lash application or fill-in, will need to be rescheduled if there is not enough time between appointments to complete your service. A broken appointment fee will apply.
Cancellations or Broken Appointments
Due to the time-sensitive and customized nature of Nouveau Clinic Services:
- We require a minimum of 24-hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment without incurring a broken appointment fee.
- Appointments that are not cancelled with a minimum of a 24-hour notice, will incur a minimum $50 cancellation fee - or an amount equal to half of the service value for services over $100 dollars.
- We regret that we cannot give exceptions to this policy.
- The broken appointment fee will be applied to your next appointment or billed to your credit card on file.
- If you have purchased a “fill-in series” at a discount, and cannot complete your touch-up in the scheduled time frame allotted, the missed touch-ups cannot be rolled forward.
- Fill-ins on monthly maintenance programs are scheduled for every 14 days for best results.
- Our phones are answered 24/7. In the event you have to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please call our main office number at 404-936-6931. If it is after normal business hours, over the weekend or on a holiday; or, if we are unable to speak with you personally, your message will be recorded and time stamped. Our service will then notify us immediately. We will contact you on the next business day to confirm receipt of your message, and to reschedule your appointment if requested. Thank you.

We happily accept Visa, Mastercard, Visa Check Cards and local checks. Please note: At this time we cannot accept American Express or Discover for lash extensions.
